How do I find friends and crews – and what can I do in a crew?

The Crews tab at the bottom of the app is the place for everything social on Trait.

Finding friends and crews

• In the Crews tab there's a map that shows you who and which crews are out running in your area.
• From there you can send friend requests, optionally with a short message. To learn how to handle requests yourself, read Declining and blocking friend requests.
• To make sure you appear in the right place on the map, complete your profile with your Homebase – see Public or private profile.

What you can do in a crew

• Group chat: Every crew has its own chat for all members.
• Runs: In the crew you can see the planned runs and join them. The crew's admins can create runs.

Chatting with friends

With friends you also have a 1:1 chat. With friends you can also see when they train (not where), their stats and your shared Feelgood Pace.
