How do I report an inappropriate profile or an inappropriate crew?

Inappropriate content has no place on Trait. There is now a technical safeguard against offensive profile pictures – but if you still notice something, please help us remove it.

How to report a profile or crew

1. Note down the name of the profile or crew.
2. If possible, take a screenshot.
3. Send us both by email and briefly describe what's inappropriate.

We look at every report. For clearly serious content – such as pornographic images or threats – we deal with it as a priority.

What you can do yourself right away

• Decline unwanted requests – after the second decline, the person is blocked for you. Details: Declining and blocking friend requests.
• Set your profile to private so strangers can't see your content: Public or private profile.

To put it in perspective: A normal friend request doesn't count as harassment, even if you don't know the person. Please report content that is genuinely hurtful, offensive or threatening.
