Twaiv became Trait in July 2024!!

We started running back then because we love running ourselves and firmly believed that it could be a “savior” for almost everyone out there. The conviction we had was that anyone can get started running and be successfully fit if we take them by the hand, give them a little guidance and help them make good training decisions day after day. Just what a human coach does in real life.

Having a good training plan doesn't mean being able to follow it well...

So we started with Twaiv as a “running training plan app” in January 2022 and got off to a good start. We quickly became a point of contact for all people who were looking for running training plans and were also seemingly able to satisfy these people very much. BUT appearances were a bit deceptive...

As we looked at how long different user groups “stay tuned” with the Twaiv app, our jaws dropped. The so-called retention over 30 days was directly dependent on the level of performance, i.e. experienced and already fit runners stayed with them in large numbers, while beginners and people dropped out of the app in rows on their way to the first half marathon.

Twaiv was good at helping people who were already training fluently and routinely. But unfortunately not for those who had to get there first.

That's why we created TRAIT!

Standard plans are just for standard lives.
